KRASO product information for engineers*

To help engineers better understand how and where to use Kraso products, we have prepared this information package, which includes sealed inlet and outlet assemblies and technical documentation.

1. Expenditure sheet:

  • A detailed description of a typical sealing junction using Kraso sealing components.
  • Select the diameters of the pipelines or cables to be sealed (highlighted). Then copy wall sleeve (TS-1) and the sealing component (TS-2) specifications from the given list.

2. Technical specifications:

  • A detailed description of all Kraso products used in the sealing junction.
  • Material properties, dimensions, technical parameters, and installation recommendations.

3. DWG file:

  • Principle drawing of the crossing assembly in AutoCAD DWG format.
  • Easily integrate the sealed junction into your projects.

    Information about EPDM rubber used in seals:

    EPDM – is a synthetic rubber that is highly resistant to environmental influences and is often used in sealing solutions, especially in outdoor and water systems..

    Main properties:

    • Resistant to UV rays and atmospheric influences;

    • Good temperature resistance;

    • Excellent elasticity and durability;

    • Resistant to water, vapour and most acids and alkalis;

    • Not suitable for use with oils or petroleum products – in such cases, NBR rubber is recommended;

    • May comply with drinking water requirements (KTW).
